Our Family received the DVD, “Children are a Blessing” over the winter and we have watched it several times on cold winter days. We were impressed at the quality of this DVD having been made and produced by the Moore Family as a home-schooling project. It was very well done. I enjoyed the historical information that they provided about the History of the birth control Pill and the Anti-children viewpoints that have shaped the course of our thinking as a nation. I think many people hold to these views but don’t understand the roots behind it. They have been raised in this culture and it is all they know. I appreciate and admire the Moore’s openness and honesty about their past and how they allowed God to change their worldview. Ultimately surrendering their hearts to Gods sovereign Will and allowing Him to control the number of children that He would so desire them to have. I think that place of courage and faith is a place where God would want us all to live. I am so thankful that the Moore’s were willing to open their home and let us peek into their lives as they joyfully awaited the birth of their tenth child. Several things I noticed and admired about this family is the Joy that each one had toward the new baby that would soon arrive. The other thing that I noticed is the cooperation within the family, working together smoothly and with team effort. They all seemed to get along nicely and I know from experience that this does not happen by chance but that there is a lot of investment into the hearts and lives of each child toward the building of godly character. I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone and everyone who would dare to live by faith. It is a great tool to use in sharing the blessings of a large family as God intended.
