We believe that God’s standard for the home has been largely abandoned in today’s culture, even within the church, and especially in our public schools.  It is due time to raise the standard out of the ashes and stand on the solid foundation of God’s word in the home, in the church, and in the education of our children.

America’s home education movement has been ushering in a renewal of biblical family life.  Fathers and mothers are turning their hearts back to the home.  As a result, these brave and steadfast contenders for family values are not only rejecting separation of child and family by the modern education system, but also the dis-integrating of families within the modern church system.  But as these godly men and women turn to the local churches for support, they are finding fierce opposition.  Surprisingly, some churches even persecute families who want their children to worship and learn with them, rather than attending “kiddy church” or sending their teens to youth group to be instructed by youth who are not much older than they.  “He who walks with the wise shall be wise, but a companion with fools shall be destroyed” (Prov. 13:20). Parents who object to such activities are labeled trouble makers and are alienated.
